The Investigation Of Sam Bacile

Arab Spring, the raison d’etre of President Barack Hussein Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize, is on the eve of going up in flames, as if fire on ice.

An obscure man in Los Angeles named Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, formerly convicted on charges of cooking crystal methamphetamine and, therefore, now also known as Sam Bassiel, Sam Bassil or Sam Bacile is the center of attention upon a mob killing in Benghazi of the United States Ambassador to Libya J Christopher Stevens.

The most extraordinary mass movement in recent memory since the end of the Cold War – in Tahrir Square, Cairo – seeking the self-determination of ordinary Egyptians in their public square, as politics has been from the pagan days of Athens of Pericles, and Plato’s recounting of Egypt’s history in his dialogues Phaedo and Critias – is falling prey to internecine warfare between the minority Coptic Christians of Egypt and the majority Sunni Muslims after the legitimate and long-awaited transformed ascendance of the now more moderate and tolerant Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi to power since the days of Hassan al-Banna, Sayyid Qutb and of the exiled Cairo doctor and accomplice of Osama bin Laden Ayman Al-Zawahiri.

Critical to the maturity of the marginal Muslim Brotherhood organization from being a grassroots resistance movement from the days of Mubarak and Egyptian military and intelligence of Omar Suleiman and United States to its election to power on the geopolitical stage after Tahrir are the preservation of Camp David Accords of September 17, 1978, on Constitution Day in the United States, mediated by former US president and Nobel Peace Laureate Jimmy Carter between Anwar Sadat of Egypt and Menachem Begin of Israel and the Suez Canal transit trade route, strategic for Egypt and the region, between the Mediterranean, Red and Arabian Seas. President Morsi is holding up his end of the bargain well, thus far, on both of these fronts.

Fractures in the power structure in Egypt after Tahrir, Egyptian military, Hosni Mubarak, El Baradei and Ayman Nour essentially remain few and clear: the cleansing of Mubarak’s Egyptian parliament, reforming its constitution, Egypt’s religious minorities, and the rifts between the Ayman Al-Zawahiri militants and the Muslim Brotherhood of President Mohammed Morsi.

The pollination of freedom which began in Tunisia is testing its resolve with the contagion of protests in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) by militants in the region vying for power in the face of the political success of their more responsible counterparts: Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Fatah and Hamas in Egypt, Lebanon and Palestine. It, therefore, behooves the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries to sensibly delineate the Islamic militants from those in whom the people of Arab Spring have vested responsibility and power.

Obscuring such a careful foreign policy analysis in NATO are its own vested interests, political and economic, caught up in an economic crisis of its own making after 09/11/2001 which is rendering Europeans and Americans unemployed and impoverished in increasingly large numbers. More employment must be created exigently everywhere around the world.

Feeding the day-to-day energy needs of Europe across from the Mediterranean in Libya, to its south in the oil-rich states of Nigeria and Sudan, and to the west of Israel in Iraq and catering to the animosity of religious conservatives which also serves as a cover to the immediate term oil interests in a de jure secular America makes MENA a battleground for the oil and gas interests of NATO countries among themselves, making the Islamic militant detractors of Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Fatah and Hamas pawns in the chess game within NATO corporations and governments, between the European Bilderberg and the American Teddy Roosevelt domestic conservationist Bohemian Club which may have funded Sam Bacile, between the Obama Democrats and the Churchill/Bush Republicans since their 1911 rift with John D Rockefeller Senior over the global reach and ambitions of Standard Oil (now primarily Exxon-Mobil and Chevron-Texaco since the Sherman Antitrust breakup of Standard Oil in 1911), and between the riche and the noveau riche.

On the bigger oil and gas game board lays the vast expanse of the Europe East, East of NATO – Vladimir Putin’s Russia and the rising China which is hungry for resources, east, along the Silk Road, the restless Iranian-Aryan plain south of the Caucusus and north toward the Russian Steppe, playing the same game which NATO is playing against itself, humanity caught up in an Escheresque recursive, self-inflicted and self-defeatist conflict of myopia since the days of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

Bohemian Club, having sparked a forest fire by way of an obscure man named Sam Bacile, wants its MENA oil and gas contracts by ultimately taking America and NATO to war against Iran and the countries of Arab Spring provoking physical attacks by Islamic extremists against US (and German) interests, United States and France (Libya), and Germany (Sudan), key members of NATO, in the backdrop of the inflammatory rhetoric of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that America and Israel are somehow synonymous.

United States Ambassador to Libya J Christopher Stevens was a ghastly casualty of war by friendly fire in a concoction on 9/11 by Bohemian Club of the Samuel Huntington conservatives against Islam and on the eve of the Camp David Constitution Day Accords of September 17, 1978.
